Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canning date looks to be sometime in maybe October 2025.
Appearance: clear light-golden body wtih a thin finger of frothy ivory foam. Looks nice, though the head could stick around a little longer.
Smell: lightly sweet aroma with this weird kinda candy-banana aroma going on. Kind of a weird aroma for a beer that's not a hefeweizen (though if you close your eyes and pretend it's a hefe, it's not bad). So, not terrible at all, but not really true to the style they're going for here.
Taste: light flavor that is almost more bready than anything else. It's got kind of a kvass vibe going on, just without the darker, molasses-ey flavors. The bit of candy banana persists. It's ... ok. Not the greatest NA beer I've had, although streets ahead of most macro NA lagers out there (I'm looking at you, St. Pauli NA).
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and okay creaminess. Not too bad, actually, considering it's NA.
Overall: like, it's not my favorite NA beer, but it's by no means a drain pour. It's not that it lacks character, it's just that the character it does have is kinda weird.

Can. White head. Clear golden straw color. Some lace.
This could easily pass as a Coors or something similar. It’s a great American macro lager style. Corn and grain. Grassy hops. It tastes like a beer beer. If I was served this at a bar, there is no way I’d be able to tell this is an NA. Another winner from self care.

16 oz can
pours a very light straw yellow color, with white head. The taste profile is definitely "cleaner" but I still get a little bit of that same tea flavor as the other Self Care beers, so would not mistake it for a regular pale lager. But easy drinking and close enough for a near beer. Thin bodied. Overall it's definitely serviceable for an NA beer.
