We went for something with a deep gold-to-copper hue, darker than a blonde, leaning amber with a subtle glow.

This wasn’t about chasing a category. We built the flavor first, then figured out where it fit. Full-bodied, low bitterness, and totally doing its own thing.

It’s a blend of American and English ingredients, treated like a light lager. Clean, zippy, and easy to come back to. It’s got something for the golden fans, amber drinkers, and around here, the African Amber crowd too.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Date stamp on the can is a little inscrutable, but I think it's 11/14/25.

Appearance: dark, rich amber hue with a clear body and a finger of pillowy tan foam atop. Never in my life would I call this a golden ale, but it's pretty!

Smell: biscuity, bready malt with perhaps a hint of caramel. It's a pretty darn successful rendition of an amber ale. That biscuity character is not necessarily my favorite, but this definitely is convincing as a non-NA beer.

Taste: bready and caramelly, with a nice sweetness and a subtle bitter character. Like I said, not super duper into ambers, but this ain't bad at all. It's actually growing on me.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: I gotta say, it's a very well made NA beer, even as someone who doesn't usually gravitate toward ambers. Really solid job here.

Can. Khaki head. Good retention and lace. Brown color with a golden hue.

Malty. Biscuits and bread. Reminds me of an English pub ale. Earthy, floral hops. Touch of citrus. Very light flavored for a self care beer, but still more flavor than most NAs. Maybe some orange marmalade.

Medium bodied. Nice feel.

Solid all around.
