Picked up a bottle of this while briefly in Kingston. Sold as a Black Session IPA - perhaps the first such beer I have had.
The flavour is anise-heavy. There are some citrus flavour but they get somewhat drowned out and muddied. Moderately bitter. The body is unsurprisingly light and the carbonation is very low. I am generally happy with low carbonated beers, but it doesn't work in this case - for the style, I think some more liveliness is helpful. Overall, a decent beer but I would not have it again.
