Pours a deep black with a small pinky of head. Head retention is not great, but lacing makes up for it.
Smell is dominated by two things... coconut and very strong bourbon barrel. Theses work nicely together to give a sweet nose, while the roasts and other elements keep the rhythm.
Taste is much like the nose, in that the coconut and bourbon dominate. You get some roasts and chocolate as well, and due to the power of the big two, the other flavors are pushed back.
Feel is medium weight and carbonation is on the lower end of medium. The booze is a punch to the face in this beer and is really the only point of weakness in my opinion.
A nice sipper that can be overpoweringly boozy at times. Take it slow, and all will be good.

A big bourbon nose, and bourbon and coconut taste. on tap at birreria volo. some chocolate in finish. bold taste package and works.still this is a sipper.
