Alternate Side is a bold American Stout brewed with a blend of specialty dark malts that deliver a full body and rich flavors of strong coffee, dark caramel, and spicy rye. As those flavors fade the smoke and warmth of aging on Guajillo and Chipotle peppers and Mexican Cinnamon reveal another side to this complex beer.

22 oz bottle. Black body with a nice tan head, some lacing and retention. Stale rye aromas, old vegetables, dark malts on the nose. Flavor falls flat. Where are the peppers and cinnamon? Seems I could find some pepper but it is old, stale and faded. Drinkable, but that's about it.

A good adjunct stout, but the pepper flavors were actually more muted than I expected. It was something I enjoyed trying, but their are better styles of this beer out there.
