this place is awesome, humble but ambitious, the kind of small town brewery that just makes a trip somewhere, we had an awesome time checking them out after the razor clam fest, and it ended up being their anniversary party, nineth i think, lucky us! i was impressed with the beer selection, from white ipa to imperial red to oak rested belgian dubbel, solid pils and schwarzbier, just really cool stuff across the board, awesome mix of styles and a lot of it quite ambitious. the space is cool too, looks almost like an old house from the front with a quaint little porch area with a few tables, an amazing side patio area that was dog friendly so we hung out back there, and then tightly packed with tables on the inside, the brewery tanks visible in the back, and the bar spanning the left side of the place. they were bustling when we were in, but had no problem getting good service. all the beers were good, some real highlights in there, and it was cool to see some innovative approaches to things. this is a place that definitely flies under the radar outside of this immediate area, but i think their beer could be much more widely relevant. super relaxed spot even though they were busy, we had a really fun time, and i will definitely go back as often as we visit our friends place up here. recommended!

I visited North Jetty while down near Long Beach a few days ago. They've got a friendly, wood-paneled taproom with a nautical theme befitting its location. The brewhouse is behind some windows at the back of the taproom, totally visible; this is a nice touch I always love. It's a welcoming place with a vacation vibe.
When I was there they had 16 beers on tap plus a guest cider, including a dark Mexican lager, kölsch, gose, porter, pale and lots of IPAs. I had the kölsch, the Mexican lager, and two of the hazies; things were pretty uniformly good, though nothing totally blew me away. I did appreciate the overall selection, though, and it's rare to be good at such a variety of things.

Their beers are really good. Friendly service and patrons. Kid friendly. I would not even think of missing a visit when I am over there.

The little brewery that could! For a small brewery they have an amazingly big selection! All of which are good. Nice feel, the owners/brewmasters mingle with the customers and make you feel welcome. If you get to the longbeach area North Jetty is definitely worth the trip!
