Copper in color with a thin tan head that dissipates. Faint aromas of dark fruit and malty sweetness. Flavor follows closely, dark fruit and dark malts. Lacks bourbon barrel character, faint notes of vanilla. Lacks body and alcohol warmth of a BA barleywine. No flaws, pleasant on the palate, Overall a very good beer.
