Pours a cloudy, deep, dark golden amber coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and herbal, slightly floral hops, with some citrus coming through as well. Taste is a good balance between sweet'ish biscuity, caramel malt and quite herbal, somewhat floral hops, with citrus accents of tangerine and lime peel, as well as just a hint of peach. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some quite herbal and lighter citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Personally, I rather dig the quite strong, expressive herbal notes in this brew, probably coming mainly from the Kazbek hops, complemented nicely by slightly floral and fruity accents as well, and balanced against some sligtly sweet malts. A perhaps somewhat unusual, but quite interesting and rather enjoyable Pale Ale if you can dig those herbal hops.
