A copper to amber color. Gentle lacing. Very dank almost dirty socks aroma (but, in a good way!). Initial taste is sweet, followed by an acidity. Alcohol comes through nicely. Too much sweetness for an imperial IPA. Mouthfeel good.

Herbal, earthy and resinous, this isn’t the tastiest DIPA by any stretch, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t well-made. After sampling a few growler options, I chose this because I wasn’t in the mood for a fruity imperial. The others had more dry-hopped fruit bouquets. This one didn’t. There’s just some underlying grapefruit. This is level, the malts sufficiently back the first three adjectives I wrote. Tobacco hint in the medicinal finish, and a creamy full body that straddles sticky. Not my favorite profile, but again what I was feeling at the time.

L-Pours a deep amber beer. Very, very dark beer. Nice frothy and fizzy head that lingers.
S- Nice zestful coriander, fragrant malt and some stone fruit combined with a nice salted butter aroma. A nice smelling imperial. I really enjoy it so far.
T- Bitter bite, sweet malty taste, crisp fruity undertone, some syrupy flavors as well. Overall well crafted flavor.
F- Crisp, light and dry to be honest. Pretty nice and fresh. Very nice.
O- Very well crafted Imperial IPA. Every sip was appreciated. I think this beer is exactly what the style is. No fireworks, but overall an extremely well made beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. They did it right for sure.

Looks good. More like 90 Minute, a darker amber color. I’m surprised it doesn’t smell as strong for a DIPA. But it bites up front and goes down smooth. It has a flavor I recognize but can’t put a finger on. It’s different in a good way. DIPA lovers try this one if you find it out there in beer world. On draft at Ron’s Corner Tavern.

On-draught at Heim's BBQ.
Alcohol heat is evident and kind of eclipses the hop flavours.

Taster pour, clear copper color, small white head, good lacing. Hop and malt both present on the nose, a blend of caramel and pine. Taste leans heavily on the pine side with a turpentine like finish more so than bitter. Average carbonation and average body.
