A roasted coffee-like aroma with an initial rich, malty sweetness complimented by hints of caramel. Overall smooth finish.

From a friend at work---Thanks Justin! This nice ale in a cool rip top can pours a luminous hazy reddish brown color with a fantastic head of light tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thick layer, and some of the best lacing I have seen to date. Nose of roasted malts, subtle smoke, peat like notes, and a hint of toffee. Flavors exceed the nose with smoky peat touch flavors on all sides, subtle toffee hits middle to rear, and finishes with a nice smoked flavor on the aftertaste with a light herbal hop note. Smooth and refreshing with a lightly dry creamy finish. Excellent and unique. Having this on tap would be amazing. Deserves more attention and kudos.....that and a wider distribution would be nice!
Cheers

A Smoked Red Ale, this is a wonderfully deep burnished red, near brown, color with excellent initial head and lacing. It has huge malt flavors, with huge smoky and semi-peaty flavors and a bit of toffee in there to boot. Good hops to balance without fighting for dominance. Goes down extremely smooth, with a deep flavor and deeper look.
