It looks like most modern American Pale Ales after the pint can has been emptied into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. Starchy stark white foam to excess on top of a shiny and lightly colored yellow-amber liquid that's close to being translucent. The foam recedes unevenly and unattractively, leaving sparse irregular glass lacing. It smells better than it looks, with almost a honey like sweetness complimenting some resinous and earthy hops. To the taste, much of the sweetness disappears. The body is light to a fault, close to American Adjunct Lager light. But, it is hoppy enough to salvage the brew. They run with some complexity from earthy to something piney and dry, without getting too bitter. It's a rather pleasant blend of Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado hops, seemingly taking some of the best characteristics from each. The light body doesn't seem so bad, now that this goes down so tastefully.
