16oz can poured into a SA glass
A- pours black in color with a two-finger foamy khaki head that eventually settles to a one-finger head that leaves some lacing behind
S- initial aroma smells just like their robust porter; plenty of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate & cereal grains. Not picking up any raspberry
T- milk chocolate and roasted cereal grains up front, followed by some vanilla creamy notes mid-palate. The finish gives more roast and chocolate with a hint of coffee. Still can't find the raspberry
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into the finish
O- as a straight up stout it's delicious but the raspberry was hard to find
