On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a murky golden-orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, tropical fruit, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great mix of citrus and tropical hop qualities that come through slightly better in the taste to me.
