had both the 007: the golden hop and the simcoe version - Really liked simcoe, was OK with the 007 (formally Idaho 7). Both of these are Smash - single malt and single hop. Nice comparison. The Simcoe may have been my favorite beer that they brewed.

On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thick swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus juice, berry, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid aromas and flavors for the style.
Serving type: on tap.
