Served from tap in a shaker pint glass at Beelow's.
If nothing else, the rotating Scorched Earth tap here will hopefully provide me some new beers. As it is, this time it's provided me with one that pours a clear brass topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises flowers, grass, a touch of biscuit, and a vague sense of even vaguer fruits in the background. The taste brings in more of the same, the grassy and flowery hops shining brightly without burning. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a crisp finish. Overall, I've gotta say, this is certainly one of the better American kolsches I've had in a long time. I could easily see drinking plenty of these while the keg holds.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
