Flannel Surfing, our Belgian quadruple ale, is here to warm you from the inside out. This dark beer is complex in flavor with layers of malty sweetness, breadiness, honey, toffee, caramel, and a bit of chocolate. Brewed with Trappist-origin yeast, subtle layers of fruitiness and spicy (pepper/clove) character are balanced by large amounts of fruit character from the addition of Belgian Candi Syrups which bring out flavors of plum, raisin, fig, and dark cherry. A touch of coriander and grains of paradise add to the spicy yeast character and help balance the overall maltiness of the beer. Grab this full-bodied beer and settle in for some channel surfing.

Had on tap. Opaque brown body with a tan head. So here is the thing, had this at the brewery and they served it way too cold! Don't know how that happens, so please let it warm up friends. Smell is revealed to be dark fruit and candi syrupy heavy with dark belgian yeast elements behind. Taste follows with light spices, almost perfume like on the backend with wood root and black pepper. Still the depth is focused on the prune, raisin and candi-sugar. Feel is full and smooth but not heavy at all, scary drinkable to 10.6% abv! The wife loved it
