Canned 2/10/20; drank 5/31/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; frothy lace.
Maple syrup, cream & fresh earth notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Maple syrup, cream & fresh earth flavors; mild booze heat & a slight metallic note on the finish.
Not great, frankly.

Poured from a crowler one day after pickup. Pitch black viscous body with a thick finger of brown foam. Smell has strong coffee, maybe even espresso, with rich chocolate truffle, vanilla, warm maple, and generally makes me think of brownie batter. Tastes even better, a little kick of cinnamon in there adds more dimension, super rich in flavoring, maple stands out in a darker tone that accents the coffee and fudge, vanilla brightens for finish very slightly. Feel is thick, super sticky, viscous, percolated, and rich in texture too. Amazing stout, save for dessert!
