Born anew and rising into something greater, we give you PHOENIX TEARS, our Vienna Style Lager. Created using a blend of imported German malts, brewed via a traditional decoction mash, and fermented in our open fermenter with our house lager strain used to ferment our Oktoberfest and Doppelbock biers! It's blazing red hue, rich toasted malt character, light caramel kiss, and dry finish should transport you to lager heaven!

Pours a clear caramel, khaki head that fades away quickly, no lacing.
Aroma of baked bread, grassy hops and malts.
A bit on the sweet side, some toffee and some pepper.
On the thin side, not much carbonation.
I won't forget Boston Lager.

Pours murky caramel brown with a big khaki head, the highlight of this beer. Super malty nose with notes of prune, caramel, toast, and dirt, no depth. Taste hits hard with the caramel and prune sweetness but then it is simply malt bomb with hints of booze, no hop presence, even toast is muted, way too sweet. Feel is malty to the face, no nuance whatsoever, booze leakage exacerbates, in a style that is lighter this has the delicate nature of a hippo.
