I tried this off the tapper at the Pour Bros. in Moline, Illinois. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had grain and bittering hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Very good tasting German helles lager. The appearance is a bit hazy, not true to style, but the rest is pretty spot on. Excellent flavor with a dry finish - refreshing hop bite on top of a round and smooth malt foundation. Bready and full bodied. Extremely well suited to guzzling down at a nice cold temperature. At the brewery I had one and it wasn't all that cold, lending some bitterness and that "warm beer" flavor. They should serve it colder. I knew it was very good and would be better cold, so I bought a 4-pack and I was right - properly chilled this is a great thirst quenching lager with absolutely no flaws I can detect other than the cloudiness. I would buy again definitely.

Had on tap. Pale gold cloudy body with a plump egghshell white head and light lacing. Smells of white bread, hints of honey cereal and floral hops. Taste is similar, but fades away before the end of the sip. Carbonation is a little high in the feel, otherwise bright and bready. Not bad just doesn't stand out
