No sign of a date.
A: Pours black with an enormous turbid brown head. Top notch head retention but barely a smidge of lacing.
S: Big sweet dark fruits with a bitter cocoa backing. Very sugary smelling to boot.
T: Taste is quad-like initially. Big sugary flavors and lots of dark fruits. Cocoa kicks in with a dusty sort of bitter chocolate and coats everything. BIG cocoa after the sweetness fades away, leading to a bittersweet finish and lots of cocoa in the aftertaste.
M: Fairly heavy with a decent alcohol sting. On the bittersweet side for sure.
O: One for the cocoa lovers. Huge bitter chocolate flavors, especially when the initial sweetness has worn off. Tastes more like a cocoa quad than a stout but I'll take it.

Large foamy white head, sticks to the side of the glass. Smells like coco and sting carbonation. Mouth feel is medium and full of bubbles in a good way. Taste is coco mixed with a nice Belgian Quad. Very good new offering from a small brewer.
