The beer that's brewed year round at the brewery since they opened almost 10 years ago.
It's clean looking with a generous finger of white foam. There's a slightly spicy hop/malt smell. The taste is crisp with a touch of herbal hops and a malty finish. Very light, refreshing and easy drinking feel!
My go to beer when I'm in the mood for something light on a hot day or a closer after something heavier.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival a fine 1 finger bone white head was present with great retention, and stays fine. Body is a traditional golden straw with effervescent fine bubbles. Crystal clear woth decent lacing.
Aroma is very attenuated with virtually no sweetness and just a touch of light fruity esters. Malt comes through as quite crackery and light.
Taste stays quite dry and attenuated without much of any sweetness. Right up front is an earthy lightly citrusy hop note with a big hit of German style bitterness. The light pear like esters are present but very dry, and on a bigger sip crackery light malts take are more present so this is pretty damn balanced.
Feel is crisp, effervescent, full bodied but light (an oxymoron, I know), with an overall dry, but long and gentle finish. I'd say this is a certified crispy boy.
Overall, despite this being pretty light and getting the job done, I'm pretty damn impressed. This is one of the cleaner craft kölsches I've had, but it isn't lacking on stylistically correct esters, nor pale malt flavor, and they weren't afraid to let you know that these are some big German hops in this brew. Fresh, refreshing, and carries some nuance.
