22 oz bottle. Pours clear dark straw gold with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malt with fruity piney hops.

The flavor is crisp pils malts with a little sweet fruit and a piney resiny bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a decent IPA.

an impressive introduction for me to this brewery in lafayette. nice people too, and that goes along way sometimes. i like the look a lot, with a dishsoapy looking pure white head on it, maybe a little more than an inch tall, and lasting the whole drink. it smells and tastes like a mix of multiple hop varietals that range from spruce like to bitter citrus, both blending seamlessly together. i really like how much not over the top it is, not too intense in bitterness, booze, or body. its not delicate either, not by any means, quite robust, but soft around the edges, and very well balanced in the sense that no single element, either hop type or ingredient category, stands out above any other. carbonation is nice too, and its relatively drinkable as the style goes. the one thing that i have to hold a little bit against it is that its not all that distinct, i mean, i probably could pick it out from a crowd of three, but from a crowd of several hundred here in colorado, if not more, there is no way, nothing to set it apart like that, but its a more than fair representation of the style and a well crafted brew. their others listed here sound more interesting, i wonder if they are as equally well brewed.
