I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle bright citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base and bright subtle bitter citrus hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Poured from a 12oz can, undated.
On the pour a nice fine white 2 finger head forms. Over a few minutes it fades to a respectable foam cap that forms some lacing. The body is a pale gold with some light haze that you can read through.
Aroma is almost a hybrid west coast east coast ipa aroma with some boiled hop aromas present mixed in with a tropical citrus fruity note. Some grassy notes follow all that. It's all tied together by big grapefruit vibes.
Flavor follows the aroma but brings slightly more piney notes from the hops while being a more sweet than bitter beer once the malts and hops combine. Maybe they tried dry hopping with more traditional "west coast" style hops. It's good but it feels like ot should be more bitter with the hop profile, and falls a bit flat. A bit too earthy to lack bitterness.
Feel is pretty big but not too filling and still pretty easy to put down. It's a bit dangerous at this abv to be honest. It's very easy to drink and the only indication if the 7% abv is a slight warming of the chest on the first couple sips then it is very smooth and refreshing. Summery but good for a meal.
Overall it's a decent ipa that seems like it's trying to do something a little different, but since it lacks a bit of the traditional ipa bitterness and a lot of the NEIPA fruitiness it falls a bit flat.
