The tap room has a unique feel. Right next to an RV park, on stilts with a wrap around deck. All wood on the inside with a bar, lots of booths, and some high top tables. Plenty of TV's, which I found a little annoying, along with a never ending playlist of Nirvana on a constant loop. Though, overall the vibe is very casual and friendly. The tap room is not the same as the production facility, which is just up the road. The tap room itself is a bar with a full kitchen. The kegs are haled from a block away down to the tap room.
Service is a little hit and miss. Everyone is friendly, but there are long stretches of time when nobody is available to take an order. I understand lots of different operations are going on, and it takes time to organize that, but come on. Either everyone was stuffing their face from the kitchen, or doing some work in the office every time I tried to order or close out.
Anyway, the selection ranges from blonde ale, brown, to their Gose variations. A brand new "juicy" IPA, which was not close to the style they tried to project. Still not a bad IPA at all. Just one noted grapefruit bitterness. The Belgian Dubbel was fairly thin and by the books as well.
Food is average pub grub, with a few items of some exotic animals (alpaca fries, frog legs, etc). Nothing bad, but not the best pub grub. Certainly filling and enjoyable for the area and this particular spot.
Anyway, an OK brewery, that is a good hang out for the area. Really, that is all it needs to be. You got to love the building. Just not particularly exceptional.
