Donkere Dagen, Dark Days, is a brew from a local brewer in my town of Enschede. Imperial Schwarzbier, as it says on the bottle.
Probably just as well an Imperial Stout.
It's brewed with several malts, wheat, chocolate malt, lightly roasted malts.
Very dark brown, with a thick beige head. Smell is beautifull of chocolate and caramel, some currents or figs in the aroma as well.
Nice balance of bitter and sweet. It's flavour is not as powerfull as the aroma suggests, but it's still very nice indeed.
Mouthfeel is quite light, actually. Not as creamy as it could be (which is what I like about the style).
Overall this is very pleasant, and I'm happy it's brewed here as well. Defenately worth a try if it happens to come your way.
