Pale gold, moderate carbonation, rocky white head, very good retention, lots of lace. The nose is pedestrian but typical for the style: grassy, creamy, some herbal undertones, very faint spiciness as well. Saaz hops set the tone for the palate, typical spiciness, clean and slightly bitter. Malt is noticeable, faintly sweet. Reasonably creamy, fulfilling mouthfeel. Medium body. Balanced, thus, easy to drink. More hay-like taste and consistency would help. But Palisades is a very good attempt at a Bohemian-Style Pilsener/Lager. Try one.
