picked up a bottle of this last month at TW in Naples.
poured from a bomber into a tulip. no dating that i could find but likely only a few months old.
looks good and nasty on the pour. black with some brown tones body with a big light tan head. dissipates to a thin covering and solid ring. decent lacing at first.
aroma is of dried fruit, sweet malts, and an alcohol kick.
tastes pretty much as it smells. alcohol is warming without kicking you in the gut. a nice sipper.
mouth is between full and medium, nicely coats the tongue.
first experience with an eisbock, pretty enjoyable.
