I'm not sure what the hell Benford thinks a NE IPA is, but this beer is a train wreck! Not to style and off flavors jump out quickly when you inspect this beer...did they use a saison yeast or pitch too high and not control fermentation temps? Either way, the yeast is obviously off for the style. The grain bill tastes like their usual awful "sweet feed" grain bill (tastes like how sweet feed for horses smells...sign of out of balance grain bill or old beer). The hop profile lacks the juicy and fruity aroma and flavor typical of a NE IPA and the mango is confused within the whole mess. Not a very good craft beer...

L: cloudy yellow, big thick head, nice lacing
S: tons of sweet mango
T: juicy, lots of mango
F: good mouthfeel, a little hop bitterness on the finish
O: the best from this brewery that I’ve had, highly recommended

Appearance - pours deep burnt orange color with thick fluffy white head.
Aroma - Ripe mango, orange, peach there is also some off aroma that cannot put a finger on that is slightly pungent.
Taste - Bitter grapefruit and orange peel, sort of masked bitter fruit flavors flavors are sort of muddled slight dish soap flavor.
Feel - Medium bodied bitter bad aftertaste.
Overall -Just not very good.
