Nice outside beer garden located just outside of Nats stadium on the Anacostia River. There's ample space with a fairly large amount of oddball seating, including some covered tables. There are numerous corn hole courts and even a playground area of sorts for kids.

Service was a bit of controlled chaos, with a single PoS terminal. A single line was handled by up to four staff members sharing this terminal about as well as could be expected. Staff could have acted happier, but they were helpful and attempted to move a decent crowd through as efficiently as possible. Samplers, full pours, and pitchers were available for purchase.

The brewery offers a dozen or so beers across a variety of styles. Unfortunately, the beers offered aren't often great representations of the styles. We sampled a half dozen of their offerings and one was near undrinkable, two weren't very close to proclaimed style at all, and all but one were at best average quality. The atmosphere was considerably better than the beer.

This brewpub is outdoors, underneath the Potomac Street Bridge which crosses over the Anacostia River. They have numerous, maybe ten, beers on tap. The outdoor area has many long, unfinished wood planks for tables. The atmosphere is friendly with people partaking in corn-hole and conversations. The brewery itself is painted shipping containers and large stainless silo tanks. Fumes from a helicopter originating from the city police helicopter landing zone unfortunately wafted over the river. The service was friendly and fairly knowledgeable. They replaced a beer that I considered undrinkable free of charge after allowing me to sample two others.

Any Bardo from over the centuries does not fit into a category. I rate it here but the categories or the standards do not apply to a Stewart-run drinking establishment.

An outside beer garden. Low-tech with good beer. Dog friendly. No pretense and no bells and whistles.

You must go to understand it. Some will love it others will hate it.
