Fresh ground coffee, rich soil, grape skin, + resin. 4
Sweet coffee cake crumble malts with licorice, molasses, and ash, deep cherry + earth coffee notes, then a touch of resin, lemon verbena and pine sap on the close. 4.25
Long, lingering sweet coffee
Medium, round, chewy. 4
All the coffee! The most authentic, deep, rounded coffee flavour I've ever had in a stout. The only problem is that it's actually a Black IPA. Herbal and sticky hop notes come out as it opens, but they're almost a distraction. Superb balance + drinkability, and way more flavour than you've any right to expect from a 5.6%. Who is this new Hillstown? 4.5
