500ml bottle from Reilly's off-license, Lisnaskea (£2.50):
Medium amber with a thin, foamy lacing on top & a slightly cloudy body. The nose was sweet & a little creamy with some corn & butter showing but it didn't quite seem like a lager at this stage, more a golden ale. There was some earthy notes & not much strength to the beer, the taste opened in a similar fashion with some corn & pale malts alongside faint, almost grassy hops & not a lot else. It was still a sweet offering but it didn't quite reach the strength of the nose & some basic adjuncts did follow. The beer itself was a medium bodied offering with similar carbonation levels but there wasn't really anything that stood out about the beer sadly.
