500ml bottle from Lidl (Ireland) - £1.99:
Fairly bright but clear a very with a thin, surface lacing for a head and one that was pretty patchy too; definitely a disappointing looking beer. The nose is also very bland and basic with some corn, hay and basic adjuncts as well as a faint sweetness but there's not much going on really other than an odd bitterness at the end and it wasn’t a smell that I enjoyed at all sadly. The taste was just as poor, there was a little more sweetness but the same corn and hay flavours from the nose dominated alongside cheap, background adjuncts. This one was terrible really and I’ve got to put it up there with some of the most basic and bland beers that I can remember trying, it was watery and generally just a very poor beer without it being undrinkable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
