I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at the 2014 WABL Belgianfest in Seattle. This is their regular Trombipulator aged for 20 months on used oak barrels, inoculated with wild yeasts and infused with cherries. Yum!
Appearance: dark amber-red hue with a light cloudiness; rich and pretty for a cherry tripel.
Smell: bright and sour with a really nice cherry aroma; quite appealing.
Taste: sweet, bright cherry flavor with some vanilla and charred oak elements. The cherry is a really nice addition here -- I love it.
Mouthfeel: moderate mouthfeel with a light carbonation; not super creamy but not bad.
Overall: I just love the taste. Cherry tripels for the win!
