Apparently this is a recreation of the Decade IPA recipe as brewed by Big Time's former brewer.
Classic citrussy american hop aroma. Slightly malty (kind of like honey.)
Orange, pretty cloudy, smallish but lasting head.
This is a hop monster. Very bitter but there is detectable malt sweetness. Lots of freshhop type flavor. Slightly grassy, but also lots of citrussy hop flavor. Finishes sweet and malty but then the green hop flavor lingers for a long time in the aftertaste.
Medium-full bodied, warming and filling. Very nice subtle carbonation bubbles.
Hop heads will love this beer. For my personal taste it's too much. I can still feel the acidic nature of the hops well after having a pint. If giant Double IPAs with tons of hop flavor is your thing, you'll like this beer. I enjoyed it but it was a little overwhelming.
