I like the name and the scintillating Amarillo aroma that would seem to be on loan from an IPA. It only lasted momentarily, but its floral essence was charmed. The beer itself is mostly balanced, with perhaps just a nod to the hop side. Bittering is otherwise restrained.
The body is bloody copper with tiny bubbles rising sluggishly. Wall to wall lace adorns the glass on the exit. Mouthfeel is round and plump.
A good, all-around, step-to-the-bar beer, though its modest flavor boasts no particular standout qualities.
