Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip.
Appearance: moderately hazy medium-orange hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Looks good.
Smell: berry, stone fruit and just a little bit of tropical character make up the aroma. I would say I think the volume could be turned up a little, but the composition is really good.
Taste: flavor has lots of stone fruit; apricot and some earthy peach quality, along with a little bit of berry and general fruitiness. The fruitiness is fresh and the finish is indeed earthy; this is a really interesting contrast to hazy tropical IPAs, with a similar level of "fruitiness" and low bitterness. The more I drink it, the more I find I like it. Great!
Mouthfeel: medium body with an OK carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a really interesting and different beer; I'm finding it way more drinkable than its 8% ABV would have lent me to guess. Good stuff.
