Pours a bright and ruddy copper, a small white head caps the pint. Head dissipates to leave faint lacing; smell is faint malt and pine hops. Taste is crisp pine followed by a muted caramel. A nice dry session, cross between an APA and an amber. Hoppy bitterness balances the malt on this one for an easily quaffable pint, hence the 5 overall. Analyzed separate the components speak of a ho-hum beer, but when appreciated in full, this beer is something that says "autumn in the PNW".
