Review from 11/2012 notes. Poured into a Maudite snifter. Pours a dark orange-brown with a thin head that dissipates to a ring around the glass. Aroma of dark dried fruit, brown sugar caramel malt. Flavor follows aroma, dark dried fruit; fig and raisins, caramel malt, brown sugar sweetness. Finishes with dark fruit and faint citrus. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A sweet, full flavored English style barleywine, enjoyable.
