The Frog & Rosbif "London Porter"

Notes: Dark amber/chestnut brown in color beneath a creamy head of tan. OK head retention but it was run through a beer engine with a sparkler on the end. Limited lacing (perhaps because of a dirty bar glass?). Cocoa and chocolate in the aroma. The flavor adds in some fruit (mainly berries) and a touch of coffee. It's mildy bitter but there's also a touch of acidity to it that helps to dry the finish. Light in body with a moderate carbonation that leaves it quite smooth across the palate.
