Draft at the brewery
Big creamy rich darker head fades at a med to quicker pace, no real lacing, pitch black color
Nose basically the base Irish stout with some chipotle added, flashes of a smokey maple bacon, sweet maple bbq sauce maybe, nice cocoa and bakers chocolate,
Taste more spicy chipotle, good pepper heat with touch of pepper flavor, little maple sweet bbq sauce thing, touch salty, plenty of the base dry Irish stout, little roast, plenty of cocoa and bakers chocolate, a bit of Smokey bacon, mild sweetness with dry finish, big lingering pepper heat
Mouth is med bod, decent carb but a little light, soft
Overall very solid beer, great base beer with good additions that mash well

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery.
A - Poured into a standard pint glass a nice dark black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of nice toasted oats, faint chocolate. Decent hot pepper notes, nice smoke notes as well, little bbq sauce vinegar as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice bright spicy pepper heat. Maybe a little meatiness, light bbq sauce smoky chipotle notes as well. Light oats and dry chocolate.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, lingering spice heat.
O - Overall this was a rather solid Irish dry oatmeal stout. Funny how this spicy bbq sauce works with this beer. Quite enjoyable.
