Poured into a 16 oz Flying Goose Snulip glass near room temperature, not sure when it was canned. Pours a very attractive near pitch black, with a nice brown head that leaves beautiful gobs of lace behind.
Smell is one dimensional coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, and vanilla bean, not complaining at all.
Taste follows dry black expresso beans, dark chocolate, and a little vanilla extremely tasty.
Mouthfeel is pretty big for 6%, plenty of life, definetly a tad dry, and drinks bigger than most 6% beers, seems closer to 8 but goes pretty darn easy.
Overall this is a morning or dessert beer done very well, I would get this again.
