A: Pours an opaque + slightly hazy medium to dark cola brown in color with light amounts of visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate brown + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a half finger tall foamy tan head that reduces to a small patch of very thin film surrounded by a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted malts and honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted and caramel malts with a slightly stronger than moderate amount of honey + caramel sweetness. Light flavors of earthy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving a light amount of lingering sweetness.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Enjoyable with nice flavors from the honey. Drinks quite easily considering the strength.

A: The beer is hazy dark reddish brown in color. It poured with just a narrow collar of beige bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark and caramel malts are present in the nose along with strong notes of raw honey.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of caramel and dark malts along with strong notes of honey. No hop flavors or bitterness are perceptible, although there are enough underlying hops to prevent any sweetness.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has nice aromas and flavors of raw honey but doesn't have any sweetness, which helps with its drinkability. It also hides its alcohol very well.
