Located on the edge of downtown, a failry large taproom, with nice old fashioned brickwork. Big bar and different seating options available. Nice selection of taps. Decent service.

This is one of the best, if not THE best brewery in my area. They currently have eight beers on tap. The tasting room is roomy, with nice decor and furniture, yet it still has that industrial feel of a brewery. It's kid friendly, with an assortment of games, etc. The brewery equipment is new and really cool to look at through the big windows. The people I visited with were very friendly, and it looked like a nice variety of people visiting. I had two sampler boards and tried every beer, bought a stainless growler, and took home a gallon of their beer- a half gallon of Snowcrest Dark Lager and their IPA (review forthcoming). The server was attentive, industrious, and friendly. The owner-brewmaster sat next to me with his small son. I was favorably impressed. He learned his trade at Pyramid, and obviously knows what he's doing.

Dillon is a nice little town with a very good small college and a relatively cosmopolitan and progressive community- everything from rednecks to cowboys to poets and artists. This is a lovely area of Montana. Dillon is a nice stop along this lonely stretch of I-15, once the scene of road agent robberies and vigilante hangings. Bannock, the first territorial capital of Montana, is nearby, as is Virginia City, the second territorial capital. Bannock is a state park/ghost town, and Virginia is a partial ghost town but still the county seat with limited services.
