Pretty malty and dark for an APA

Pretty good pale ale, just missing something in the aroma. But I'd drink again!

Pours an oddly murky brown, reddish around the edges in the light, it's strange looking. Arcs or random drippy lace form around the edges of the glass, spotty and spindly. Initial finger of foam with a creamy surface texture. Thin skim across the surface breaks eventually.
Aroma is lightly sweet and fruity, juicyfruit gum comes to mind.
Taste is malt forward and yeasty, tea like with some fruitiness, citrus peel mainly. Feel is smooth, medium bodied, very much unfiltered. A touch watery as the carbonation ebbs towards the end of the glass. Decent enough but not something I'd pick up again.
