Batch #33 tasted in a Rastal Teku glass from a 1 pt 6 oz bottle on December 21, 2015. Look is amber with a white head and some lacing. Smell is caramel, honey, floral and citrus aromas. Taste is bitter citrus, pine, honey, herb and spice notes. Feel is medium light in body and a little bitter in the finish.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter. The aroma starts with potent caramel and honey but fades to a mellow floral and citrus combination with caramel undertones. Ultimately it settles on a distinct honey and citrus blossom near the end. The beer is a brilliant, effervescent amber with a white fuzzy head that leaves moderate retention and a sparkling, light lace. The taste is a medium bitterness with a slightly less medium sweet; nearly balanced. The texture is light and sticky with an abundant fizzy and smooth carbonation. The medium light body is herbaceous with pine and bitter fruit notes and a crisp burnt herb finish that turns to clove honey and bittersweet grapefruit. This, in turn goes more bitter in aftertaste leaving a lingering bitter citrus, dry spice, and pine note as well as a light astringent feel. After a moderate length, it cleans up with a resinous feel.
