The C Porter is our Port Everglades Porter aged with coconut in an attempt to concoct a Caribbean inspired dark ale. Some say this beer is reminiscent of a Mounds bar in a glass. Notes of sweet coconut, milk chocolate, and subtle roast lace the air while caramel, coconut, nutty esters, and milk chocolate hit the palate. You will find all the malt depth of the Port Everglades Porter, but with a tropical twist.

Took a growler home. I have been looking forward to trying this beer and it didn't disappoint.

A pitch black color with a nice 3 finger mocha head. The aroma is BIG SWEET COCONUT,coffee, fruitiness and some vanilla. The taste goes with the smell. Big Coconut, vanilla, coffee,a bit of bitterness at the end. Overall this awesome beer. To bad they don't bottle. Not to many people know about this brewery and there awesome selection. I live 30 mins away from Ft.Lauderdale and it is worth the drive.

The C Porter was my second favorite offering that I tried at LauderAle. It poured opaque dark with thin head and spotty lace. The scent was a rich bouquet of coconut. The taste was similar to almond joy. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was awesome.

Sample bottle from the brewery.

Full on darkness, tan lacing drapes down the glass. Very aromatic with a lush chocolate covered coconut, sweet and very inviting. Deep smoothness with a light prick of carbonation. Roasty foundation gives way to the cococnut and more chocolaty & coffee-like roasted flavors. Creamy medium body. A whole lot of fun to drink, very easy to knock back.
