Our most hop-forward beer, the Double D is our Imperial IPA brewed with heaps of Cascade, Simcoe, Centennial and Chinook hops. You will find a pale orange beer with characters of pineapple, juicy tangelo, grapefruit peel, papaya, floral spice, and honey-sweet grain. Double D has a medium body with a moderate amount of bitterness and a refreshing finish.

Shared a crowler of this beer with some friends from the 'Wego during our Fantasy Football draft at Gunny's house in FLO-RIDA. I drank it from a red solo cup so I did not get color, head or lacing stats. The scent was dominated by tropical and bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe bitter tropical fruit presence that finished bitter. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Sample bottle from the brewery.

Clear golden hue shines in the light, good frothing on top. Lots of tropical fruit and citrus in the nose from hops, good sniff of the malt foundation that has a likeness to shortbread. Just enough bitterness to keep it an IPA, very juicy hop flavor does not fade quick. Warming, smooth and creamy with a kiss of crispness. Wild flowers, nutty grain. Was expecting a bit more of a hop forward beer, there is a lot of flavor and it is layered ... it just seems a bit restrained compared to most other DIPAs. Good drinking regardless.
