Looks impressive. Big, long-lived head with lots of lace. Clear gold. Hoppy with some funk on the nose, fairly low key. Grainy and malty to taste. Not your typical blonde, as it's got more character across the board. Drinkable.

500 ml bottle served cold into a tulip. Purchased for about $4.50 CDN.
Appearance - clear rich gold color with lots of bubbles. Pretty although short lived finger and change of white head, and not much in the way of lacing.
Smell - not a huge nose, more American blonde ale than APA. Some graininess and a nice floral bouquet in the background.
Taste - plenty of grains up front and mid sip with some malty sweetness from a toffee and caramel blend in between. Bitterness is low and this is definitely more a blond ale. For what it is, the beer has good flavor.
Mouthfeel - light with lively carbonation, not as light as some blondes but the alcohol content is higher which means that can be overlooked to a certain extent.
Overall - a well crafted and tasty blonde ale, there it succeeds in its mission. As an APA as it's listed here, it would fail with a huge lack of hop presence. Given that it is listed as a blonde ale on the bottle I'm willing to give this brewery the benefit of the doubt and regard it as a good albeit expensive ale.

A-Clear golden yellow with a white head that continuously bubbles
S-I get a yeasty acidic aroma, reminiscent of Belgium brews. There is a subtle fruity banana weizen like smell
M-Waaay too much carbonation for me. It's like you are drinking head and not actual beer.
T-There are banana notes and a nice sweetness, almost candy like
O-Unfortunately this beer is not for me. The over-carbonation kills it

Purchased at the LCBO for around that $3.50 mark for a 500ml bottle. Served at 7deg C in a draught glass
A- Opens well and pours a 1" high white head that films out within a minute. Light gold color and filtered clear
S- Nice hop presence here
T- Smooth and rich. Very well blend that nothing sticks out on. Lots of malt. Very enjoyable.
M- Creamy rich.
O- Very nice brew. I like it and will buy again. It's perfect for a late summer night where you can sit around the fire chatting
Food Pairing
This wonderful brew cut through a charcuterie with ease. The various prepared and cured meats were wonderful and this brew balanced through that and the cheeses
Enjoy
