Copenhagen 3/1 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like an old, hand-drawn treasury map on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a very big off-white head. Settles as 3 cm thick, lumpy, fluffy layer of foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, lightly roasted sweetness meeting sharp sour bitterness. Lightly roasted dark malts, caramel. Chemical sour odor. Unripe berries. Gooseberries and currants.
Medium carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour with a vinous touch. Semi-dry finish.
Unusual take on a Black IPA. More sour than bitter and with only a light sweet, roasted touch.

Pours very dark brown... neatly black color with a 2-finger tall thick beige head. Smells orange, a bit pines. The taste is sweet and bready. A bit sunflower finish. Medium-bodied, high-carbonated. I really liked it. Soft bitterness.
