Copenhagen 1/2 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. As The Machine IPA". Sketchy painting of ice hockey players on the label. The hand drawing it is included in the sketch.
Pours unclear, dark amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, lightly fruity sweet and with a dry citric bitterness. Light odor of papaya, mango and peach. Sharp citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Solid IPA with a strong flavor dominated by a dry bitterness and a weaker nose.
